The Alpine Gurez was founded by native residents of Gurez Valley with a single objective: to share the raw beauty of our mountain home without compromising its delicate ecosystem.

From the towering shadow of the legendary Habba Khatoon Peak to the peaceful streets of Dawar village and the pristine flow of the Kishanganga River, Gurez is a region shaped by Dard-Shin traditions and dramatic Himalayan vistas.

For decades, this border territory remained restricted. Now open to travellers, we are proud to offer guided journeys that directly support local homestays and village economies, proving that tourism can be both adventurous and deeply responsible.
